Ollie Tristram

With this artefact I wanted to use a film clip that was fairly neutral in emotion. The previous artefact was a fight scene so obviously the fast paced music worked better with it. In this clip I used a scene from Goodfellas but edited it to cut out the character pocketing a gun (as that would influence the audience's opinion of the character even without music) and also cut the scene before any conflict started. This gave me a neutral clip and allowed me to insert 4 different genres of music and survey people to find out how they felt the music affected the on-screen action.
